What do readers and clients want from me?

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007 | Business Insights, Deep Tissue, Featured, Kink Friendly, Massage, blogging

I have been asking this question since I started using blogging as a business tool. I had a blog with blogger for at least a year and I thought that I was doing ok… man was I wrong.

Now I have a great idea of what to write… as far as how my content should relate to my audience. To try and make a long story short… I’ve been going nuts. (big surprise)

So I asked one of my clients - Frank F. - yesterday, “what the #^$% do I write? What info do you think that I have that you would want to read all my updated posts and entries?” I loved his answer: “People who come to you for massage are probably coming to you because you make them feel comfortable. I, for one, would want to know about what you are up in business as well as personal information about you. Massage is so intimate and it’s nice to know the person who’s giving it.”

I found a lengthy magazine article that talked about massage, intimacy and some testimonials that were designed to help a newcomer find a massage therapist that is good for them.sierra-669.jpg

So now it’s valid to post about myself. That takes care of a few posts and pages. What about Information that will grab and keep a reader?

I get major writer’s block over this. I have tried to do some surfing with my limited surfing skills and I have found few good blogs to reference material and network - especially about massage - seems there’s lots of stagnant pages and maybe some magazine articles. But I will keep digging.

At this point… I’m stepping up. I’m going to claim my authority on the subjects of kink-friendly business running and massage therapy. So expect my opinions and I’ll do my best to use my experience as well as on-line research to give interesting, valid and humorous articles on subjects that I deal with everyday.

Eric Koszyk From Eric Koszyk. Wow! What can I say? Sierra is a truly gifted person and therapist. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about massage. It helps that she is extremely intuitive and a very caring human being. Her space on Broadway is very warm, comforting and inviting.

As a fellow massage therapist, I highly recommend her, especially if you are looking for extensive deep tissue work which she is amazing at. You will leave her place wiser; her treatments will change your life.

Joe Shirley From Joe Shirley I still remember the first massage I got from Sierra over six months ago. My neck was chronically bugging me, and my carpal tunnel thing was acting up. She asked my permission to go for it. I said yes. It hurt. She told me to trust her, and I did. And both my neck and wrist felt great afterwards. She went right through that crap and out the other side. Amazing.

Matt HansonFrom Matt Hanson Sierra is fantastic! I felt she was really attentive to the needs I expressed about my upper-back and shoulders. I was really impressed that she could identify other problems spots quickly and how they positively affected those areas that were bothering me most. I have had several massages and she has the strength and understanding to do a incredible job.

Dennis DildayFrom Dennis Dilday I’ve had close to a hundred massages from more than a dozen different therapists and I can say Sierra’s are unique and wonderful. She relates and interacts with the layers of facia in a way others can’t. While determined to get a response from the tissues, Sierra is also tuned into her patient and keeps the experience pleasant and interesting. Clinically, she’s both confident and competent.
